The Reverend Daniel .A.Inyang; Certificate Communication Art Dip, Theo;B.A;.M.A, PhD(Candidate) Rev. Daniel A. Inyang, Aveteran of Nigeria’s Civil War, graduated from the pastoral course at Jonathan Ekong Memoral Lutheran Seminary (JEMLS) in1987. As a pastor, Rev.Inyang served several congregation in rural and urban areas. He also served as superintendent for the congregations in Abuja. Rev. Inyang began serving at JEMLS in 1998. He completed his B.A in religious studies (1995) and M.A in religious studies (2004) at the University of Uyo, Rev. Inyang is currently studying in Uncial for a Ph.D in Religious studies,Rev. Inyang has attended international conference at Tanzania, Germany and Ghana. Rev. Daniel and Mrs. Magdalene Inyang are blessed with four sons four daughters and two grandsons.


The Reverend Michael O. Adoga, Dip. Theo; M.A.Ph.D Fort Wayna

Rev. Micheal O.Adoga graduated from the pastoral course at Jonathan Ekong Memoral Lutheran Seminary (JEMLS) in1987. As a pastor, he served congregations and parishes in the Yala and Ogoja Local government Area of cross River state as well as in calabar. In 1989, he attended the Nigerian Evangelical Missionary institute-NEMA in Jos. In 1998, Rev.Adoga studied non-residential theological education under American Missionary, Ambassador Daltaon Noack in Ghana. In 1999, Rev.Adoga began teaching at the Seminary. He completed his M.A (2004) At Concordia theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, in U.S.A. He also completed his Ph.D at Fort Wayne in 2009 Rev. Michael and Mrs. Grace Adoga are blessed with 3 children.


The Reverend Dr. Nelson U.Unwene; Dip Theo; M.A.R., Ph.D.,D.D

Rev. Dr. Nelson U.Unwene graduated as pastor from the Lutheran seminary, Obot Idim in 1962. As pastor, he served the congregation of the Ukpom District in 1963. He served as principal of the Lutheran Bible Institute, Ikot Ibritam in 1964. He then served as a Lecturer at the Lutheran seminary 1965-1967). During the Civil War, Rev. Unwene served the international Red Cross as a storekeeper distributing relief supplies to refugees (1968).Rev.Unwene served the calabar District as pastor and superintend 1969-1973). In 1972, Rev. Unwene was elected Vice President of the Lutheran church of Nigeria. He cpmleted the Master of Arts in Religion degree (1974) at Concordia seminary in Saint Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. Rev.Unwene was called to serve as principal of the Lutheran seminary in Obot Idim in 1975. In 1979, Rev. Unwene was elected president of the Lutheran church Nigeria. He served as President until 1993 when he declined nomination for the office. Rev.Unwene received the Doctor of Divinity (Honoris causa) degree (1981 from Concordia theological seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana, U.S.A Dr. Unwene was reassigned in 1994 to serve as principal and teacher of Jonathan Ekong Memoral Lutheran Seminary (JEMLS). He took a study leave to complete the Doctor of Philosophy in Missiology degree (2000) at Concordia Theological seminary, Fort Wayne Indiana, U.S.A. IN 2004, Dr. Unwene retired as Rector at JEMLS,Dr.Nelson and Mrs. Atim Unwene are blessed with five children and one granddaughter.


Rev.Dr.Samuel Joshua. Udofia, Dip.Theo; M.Div; STM; Ph.D

A graduated of the Lutheran Bible Institute, Ikot Ibritam, 1961 A graduated of the Lutheran seminary, Obot Idim, 1971. A graduated of the Concordia seminary, Springfield, lllinois, USA, 1976 and Concordia Theological seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA 1977. Rev. Udofia has served various position in church and in society within Nigeria and overseas. Here are some of those:

Rev. Udofia qualified as master of sacred Theological, having taken the Old Testament for his major and the New Testament for his minor. In October, 2005, he was reassigned to lecture at JEM Lutheran Seminary, Obot Idim Ibesikpo. He is, married with seven children and four grand children. The Rev.Dr.S.J.Udofia completes his Ph.d IN 2007.


The Revered Joseph Okon Umoh, Dip Theo; B.D; M.TH

Rev. Joseph Umoh graduated from Evangelist programme at JEM Lutheran seminary in 1979. He served as an Evangelist at the LCN Oron Town. In 1981 he went back to JEM Lutheran seminary for pastoral training. He completed that programme in 1985. He served as a chaplain at the Lutheran senior science secondary school Ibakachi 1985-1989. In September 4, 1989 he was assigned to LCN Ibong Road, Ikot Ekpene as the Ikot Ekpene District superintendent. In 1992 he was assigned to the LCN Obio Offot as Obio Offot District superintendent. He studied at the Theological College of Northern Nigeria (TCNN) Bukuru Jos for Bachelor of Divinity Degree in 1994-1996. After that training, he was assigned to the LCN Dim Street in Port Harcourt as the Port Harcourt District superintendent in 1996. In September 2000, he was assigned to the LCN Ikot Ibiok as the Eket District superintendent. He was also a part time teacher at the JEM Lutheran seminary from 2003 ? 2005 .in 2005 ? 2007; he gained admission and studied for Masters of Theology Degree in Biblical theology majoring in Old Testament at the Theological college of Northern Nigeria (TCNN) Bukuru, Jos. On Completion he was assigned to teach at JEM Lutheran seminary Obot Idim Ibesikpo from 2007 till date. Rev. Joseph Umoh and his dear wife Esther Umoh are blessed with four children, three boys and a girl.
